Scope
Roof cleaning is not a licensed trade in the United Kingdom. There is no register, no qualification specific to it and no statutory standard for the work itself, so the obligations that do apply reach it indirectly: through the Work at Height Regulations 2005, through the control of hazardous substances, and through the authorisation regime governing the biocides used. Those are the parts of the subject that can be stated precisely, and they are where this wiki is most useful.
Much of the rest is trade practice rather than codified method. Where that is the case the article says so and carries no citation, rather than dressing established practice up as a standard. Two subjects here are genuinely disputed within the trade, and those articles set out what is claimed and what is objected to without adjudicating between them.
